I changed my mind, how do I cancel my order?
To be eligible for a full refund, you must cancel your order within 48 hours of purchase; otherwise, a 10% fee will be deducted. If the hair has already been shipped, we are unable to cancel the order, even if it is within the 48-hour time frame.

I accidentally entered the wrong address. May I change the shipping address?
We will send you an order confirmation email to double-check your shipping address. If the hair has already been shipped, please note that you will be responsible for any additional charges incurred from changing the shipping address.

May I exchange my order?
We understand picking the right color and hair texture might be a bit difficult from a computer screen, so we are more than happy to accommodate exchanges of hair extensions that have NOT been used, worn or tampered with. Our Human braiding hair will be tied by elastic which identifies if the extensions have been taken out. Since human hair extensions are hygienic product, we take matters of hygiene and public safety seriously and DO NOT ALLOW used items to be returned for the safety of all of our clients
a)Please contact our customer support (service@lockbraids.com) within 72 hours of receiving your item.
b) Once we confirm your exchange request, we will provide you with a return address.
c)Please note that you will be responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return.
d)If you wish to exchange for a different item, please inform us as you may need to pay the price difference. Please note that coupon codes cannot be used to offset the price difference.
e)We will dispatch your new hair extensions once we have received, inspected, and confirmed that the returned extensions are unused, unaltered, and undamaged.

*Items that have been untied, washed, installed, chemically processed, dyed, excessively brushed, or finger combed are ineligible for exchange. We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.

*Please note that the return shipping label is only valid for domestic orders. As your package is international, we are unable to provide a shipping label service.

Can returns be accommodated? Please note that we only accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of receiving the hair. You will be responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return. If the return is due to the buyer's responsibility (such as dislike/unwanted, ordering the wrong product/size, damage, or delays due to force majeure), we will deduct 20% from your refund to cover the customs duties incurred by the return.

When will I receive my refund?
A refund will be provided to the original method of payment after we have received, inspected and confirmed that the returned hair extensions were intact. All customers must contact us after sending the package back and provide us with the tracking information in order for us to track the return packages.

Note:
a）Most financial institutions will take an average of 7-15 business days to process the refund, however, it could take longer.
b）Custom and Clearance products orders are non refundable or exchange. Please ensure you are fully aware of what you are ordering before purchase to avoid any disappointment.
c）If the incomplete or incorrect address information is the major cause shipment delays or the package damage, Lockbraids will be not responsible any fee or exchange requirement. Please double check the address before placing your order.
d）Orders shipped to military addresses (APO/FPO) or U.S. territories, including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands, will be shipped via USPS Regular Service only and may require additional shipping fees.

Normally, hair extensions can last 2 to 4 months with good care. Please pay attention to the points below in how to care for hair.

1.[Wash Your Extensions Correctly]
It is suggested that you should gently wash the hair with 30℃ - 40℃ purified water which will make it more smooth. Comb the hair to make it smooth before washing. Do not twist, scrub or rub the hair. You can apply a generous amount of conditioner, but DO NOT apply conditioner close to the roots!

2. [Never Sleep With Wet Extensions] 
If you have sewn-in extensions, you have to (of course) leave your extensions in for bed. To keep them from becoming tangled and prevent frizz, you can wear a sleeping cap or silk scarf while you sleep.

3.[Minimise Heat Damage]
Never put a heating tool near the attachment area. Because it may melt the tip bond, leading to falling out.

4. [Always Brush Extensions With Care] 
When combing and detangling your extensions, use a wig brush or a wide-tooth comb that will be gentle on them. Remember to always start from your ends and work your way up!If you take care when detangling, you’ll get a longer wear out of your extensions—so, it’s well worth it.

5.[KEEP WASHING TO A MINIMUM]
Washing your extensions once a month is fine. While this may seem like an extreme length of time, remember that hair extensions don’t have the natural oils that your hair does, so washing them too often will cause them to become dry and brittle.

6.[STORE THEM PROPERLY]
If you have hair extensions, it’s a must to store them properly to prevent them from becoming tangled. Try storing them in an empty box! When storing extensions, put them in a ponytail so the clips or beads don’t snag on the rest of your extensions. Simply wrap each weft around each other before securing them with a gentle hair tie. 

7.[KEEP THEM MOISTURIZED]
While sewn-in extensions get moisture from your hair’s natural oils, hair extensions can become dry as they don’t have the same exposure. To keep them from becoming parched, use a leave-in conditioner every so often. Just make sure not to use too much as this can cause your extensions to appear greasier than your natural mane!
